The Aṣlaḥ Project (2010-2012) sheds light on the Aṣlaḥ Triclinium Complex in Petra, dated by an inscription of Aṣlaḥ son of Aṣlaḥ, one of the earliest known Nabataean inscriptions. Investigations revealed that the Southern and Northern Terraces at the site represent two distinct periods of architecture, with the Northern Terrace dating no earlier than the late 1st century BC. This research contributes significantly to understanding the development of Early Petra and its funerary practices.
