Know Your Crew! With Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley

A new era of human spaceflight is set to begin as astronauts once again launch from American soil on American rockets to the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will be the first crew to fly on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, lifting off on May 27 for an extended stay at the space station. They were among the first astronauts to begin working and training on SpaceX’s next-generation human spaceflight vehicle and were selected for their test pilot and flight experience, including several missions on the space shuttle.
