https://culturepedia.chinadaily.com.cn/#/entryDetailPage/1863483978744172545 Yin Xu, also known as the Yinxu Ruins, is one of the most significant archaeological sites in China, offering a window into the late Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-11th century BC). Located near the Huanhe River in Anyang, Henan province, this site represents the remnants of the ancient city of Yin, considered the first capital site in Chinese history documented and substantiated by archaeological findings. It was officially added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2006.
