Georg Hadeler received his art training at the Muthesius Werkkunstschule to Kiel in Germany.

Besides being an independent artist based in The Hague, he is known as a graphics teacher at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. He succeeded the famous graphics teacher Wim Beuning.

"As an artist you work in a maze. You have to find your way through countless outside influences," says Georg Hadeler. In his lithographs the maze is a recurring theme for the interpretation of dreams and thinking processes.
"I'm one of the old guard. Making a lithograph is a lot of work. Sometimes ten printings are needed. Which is a month of work ..."
