If pure, strong motivation extends from the very beginning to the very end, so all will be good in the beginning, good in the middle, and good at the end. The purpose and fundamental root … is to remember the kindness of our Teacher, Buddha Shakyamuni, and to pray for the peace and happiness of all beings with whom we share this world. We are continuing and preserving a pure Lineage which we must not blemish.
