A través del cuerpo he podido construir una reflexión sentida y ligada a las experiencias genealógicas y etnográficas urbanas, periféricas y rurales, donde el conflicto armado tiene lugar constante o con una cierta intermitencia. De ahí que el propósito de esta reflexión es ensanchar las condiciones para desplegar esa capacidad para determinarnos libremente. Como aprendiz de los pueblos, reconozco la capacidad de sostenimiento y disfrute, donde la forma de vida mantiene un sentido profundamente entrelazado con las corporalidades extensas (Márquez Méndez, 2016): los cuerpos de agua, la tierra y sus frutos, el territorio y sus relieves, la funga y las conexiones del micelio, la diversidad de flora y fauna que, en conjunto con la pluralidad humana, conformamos el ecosistema. El cuerpo es donde es posible apreciar la potencia de la vida, su resistencia ante la devastación y su orientación al sostenimiento del cuidado. También podemos dar cuenta de su revés, cuando la vida se ve expuesta al daño, a través de distintos modos materiales y simbólicos de vulneración y violencia múltiple. - I explore some of the ways in which the colonial legacy inhabits us through our relationship with our habitat, in this exercise of transcending it. Through the body, I have been able to construct a heartfelt reflection linked to genealogical and ethnographic experiences in urban, peripheral, and rural areas, where armed conflict occurs constantly or intermittently. Therefore, the purpose of this reflection is to broaden the conditions for developing our capacity to freely determine ourselves. As a student of these communities, I recognize their capacity for sustenance and enjoyment, where the way of life maintains a meaning deeply intertwined with extended corporealities (Márquez Méndez, 2016): bodies of water, the land and its fruits, the territory and its topography, fungi and the connections of the mycelium, the diversity of flora and fauna that, together with human plurality, make up the ecosystem. The body is where it is possible to appreciate the power of life, its resistance to devastation, and its orientation toward sustaining care. We can also account for its reverse side, when life is exposed to harm, through different material and symbolic modes of violation and multiple violence. ...
