Comment ça va ? / How Are You ? Samuel LÉZÉ 2026, La Nuit des Sciences

This ordinary question often gets the answer "fine" or "I'm hanging in there," without saying how we're really doing. Between being unwell and saying so, there are many thresholds, hesitations, and silences. Drawing on mental health research, this mini-lecture explores how a difficulty can be downplayed, put off, or put into words, and why it sometimes, but not always, becomes a request for help from a professional.
