This study examines the Ancient South Arabian (ASA) languages with a focus on the Sabaic language as a prominent member within this linguistic family. It discusses the historical and cultural interconnections and processes that led to the development and spread of ASA languages, particularly emphasizing the Sabaeization phenomenon and its implications on non-Sabaic languages. Furthermore, it critiques previous archaeological hypotheses, suggesting a more complex relationship between the Sabaean civilization and its neighboring cultures, supported by recent archaeological findings.
