The Sun Up Close – The first images from Solar Orbiter – an international collaboration between the ESA (European Space Agency) and NASA – now are available, including the closest pictures ever taken of the Sun. Solar Orbiter made its first close pass of our star, and the data already is revealing previously unseen details.
