Gulabo and Sitabo are the heroines from glove puppetry theatre’s glorious days. The title of Shoojit Sircar’s film of the same name, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, has brought this age-old folk art form from Uttar Pradesh under the spotlight, possibly giving it hope for revival.
