Spot The Station | NASA

Spot The Station | NASA

Space to Ground
Two spacewalkers stepped outside the International Space Station for the second in a series of complex spacewalks on Friday, Nov. 22. Expedition 61 Commander Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency and NASA Flight Engineer Andrew Morgan continued repairs on a cosmic ray detector, called the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer.
Space Station by the Numbers – Crew members have now conducted 223 spacewalks and spent a total of 58 days 9 hours and 41 minutes working outside the station.

Spot the Station – When the space station is visible – typically at dawn and dusk – it is the brightest object in the night sky, other than the Moon. Our interactive map tool called Spot the Station allows skywatchers to view the space station's location as it flies overhead.
