Watch: Special Diwali laser show in Ayodhya impresses people

The holy city of Ayodhya is all set to celebrate Diwali like never before. The Uttar Pradesh government has planned a series of events for Diwali, including the setting of a world record by lighting the most number of diyas at one time.
To kick off festivities, the banks and ghats of the Sarayu river were decked up with flowers and earthen lamps, and there was a special laser show that impressed locals and people online. The laser show was hosted on the eve of Chhoti Diwali.
Footage released by news agency ANI showed how scenes from Ramayana were projected on stairways leading to the river. From beautiful pictures being illuminated with laser lights to animations, the stunning visuals had people on the Internet hooked.
Adityanath is being joined by First Lady of South Korea, Kim Jung-sook, for the celebrations in Ayodhya. The South Korean first lady is in India on a state visit. She also laid the foundation stone for a statue of Queen Hur Hwang-ok of South Korea.
Princess Suriratna from Ayodhya is believed to have married Korean King Kim-Suro, and became Queen Hur Hwang-ok in the year 48 AD.
